Funnier is made by Mittolabs. This says what the app holds about you, why, and what you can do about it. It covers the app on Android, iOS and the web.
What we hold
If you sign in: your email address, and a password we never see in the clear. Your display name, handle and picture if you set them.
If you don't: a guest account with no email attached. You can look around, and sign in later if you want to.
What you do in the app: the memes you post and their captions and tags, who you follow, what you liked and saved, comments you wrote, messages you sent, and anything you reported or asked not to see again.
How the app is used: which memes were opened, shared or saved, so we can tell what people find funny. This is tied to your account, not bought from anyone or sold to anyone.
On your device: your language and theme, your recent searches, and a copy of what you have already seen so the app opens without a connection. Clearing the app's data removes all of it.
What we do not do
- We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with advertisers.
- We do not track you across other apps or websites.
- We do not read your messages except when one is reported to us.
Notifications
If you turn on notifications, your device gets a token so we can send them, and you are subscribed to the topics for your own activity. Turning them off in settings unsubscribes you.
Where it lives
On servers Mittolabs runs, using our own Applad platform. Nothing is handed to a third-party analytics or advertising service.
What you can ask for
A copy of what we hold, a correction, or deletion of your account and everything attached to it. Write to privacy@funnier.appand we will do it.
Children
Funnier is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly keep accounts for them. If you think we have one, tell us and it goes.
Changes
If this changes in a way that matters, we will say so in the app rather than quietly editing this page.
